About Our School
Our Vision & Mission
"Today’s Children Are Tomorrow’s Leaders!” Children learn best through Play and Exploration. Our preschool program's mission is to provide a safe, fun, and high-quality early childhood education that prioritizes the development of children’s Social Emotional Learning Skills and Critical Thinking Skills. We teach "the whole child", which means to support and nurture all areas of children's development and learning (Physical, Social & Emotional, Language & Literacy, and Cognitive Skills). Our vision is to cultivate LOVE of LEARNING in children, and to empower them to become caring, creative and collaborative leaders in the future.
We use “ The Creative Curriculum for Preschool” to support children to become curious, creative, confident, and, collaborative learners.
Our teaching team is committed to guide and support children's learning and growing based on their interests, strengths, and needs.
Our Founder
As the founder & director of Bay One Preschool, Juan Li holds a BA Degree in Chinese Language & Literature from Hunter College and a MA Degree in Early Childhood Education and Bilingual Degree from Hunter College. She holds New York State Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Education (Birth to Grade 2). Additionally, she holds Certificates of School Building and District Leaderships. As an educator, she has taught Pre-K children in a Bilingual Public School. After more than 15 years teaching, she could never think of anything else that she wanted to be besides an Early Childhood Educator!
Our Teachers
Our teachers are CARING, CREATIVE, and COLLABORATIVE! They are passionate about Early Childhood Education! As a facilitator, every teacher supports children’s learning through play in the classroom. Our teaching team is committed to guide and support children's learning and growing based on their interests, strengths, and needs. All of our teachers are licensed, trained, and experienced in Early Childhood Education.
